70 <br />March 10, 1980 <br />North to Highway #96 on the South. The Council of Circle Pines and Shore= <br />view will be asked to participate in this Resolution. Mr. McLean moved <br />to approve this Resolution. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Under New Business, Mrs. Elsenpeter presented the idea of a news letter <br />being mailed several times a year. She had prepared such a letter to be <br />sent at the time the information guides are nailed. She also presented <br />the idea of the City acquiring a Bulk Rate postage stamp for this type <br />of mailing. Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to instruct the Clerk to apply for this <br />permit. SEconded by Mr. Kulaszewicz. Motion declared passed. The Council <br />gave approval of the letter she had prepared and it is to be signed "Lino <br />Lakes Council." <br />Mr. Schumacher will check with PCA on the status of WPC -40. If this has <br />been finalized, the City has agreed to adopt. Mr. Locher reminded the <br />Council, if this is adopted by Reference, a copy must be on file in the <br />office. <br />Mr. Pete Scherer asked if there was some way in which the building planned <br />for the City Hall Park could be constructed this year. Mr. Schumacher <br />said the plans are being completed and should be available for Park Board <br />review at their next meeting. <br />Mr. McLeam moved to adjourn at 9:55 P.M. Sarner, Clerk- Treasurer <br />March 24, 1980 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order at <br />7:33 P.M. on March 24, 1980 by Mayor Gourley, Council members present; <br />Elsenpeter, Jaworski, McLean. Absent; Kulaszewicz. Mr. Locher, Mr. Meister, <br />and Mr. Schumacher were also present. <br />The Minutes of March 10, 1980 were considered and several corrections were <br />made. The minutes were approved as corrected. <br />The disbursements were considered. The expense checks for the Park Board <br />and the P &Z members were held. The Clerk is to check for attendance of <br />these borads on a quarterly basis. Mr. Mobley's check was questiond. This <br />check is for followup work and these fees had been collected by the City. <br />Mayor Gourley moved to approve the idsbursements with the exception of <br />the expense checks for P &Z and Park Board. Seconded by MR. Jaworksi. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mr. John Clark appeared before the Council to discuss the matter of the <br />pigs on the Henry Suchy land. Mr. Clark felt that Mr. Suchy should have <br />applied for a special use permit. He cited several points in the Ordinance <br />that he felt applied to this matter. 1) need 300' frontage - only has <br />265'; 2) no stock raising in a residential district; 3) cited the need <br />for a special use permit to conduct this operation in a residential <br />district. <br />
