Council Minuter <br />May 27, 1980 0 J 0 101 <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Consideration of the fee schedule for heating permits as submitted by the <br />Building Inspector was taken up as the next agenda item. Mr. Schumacher <br />said he was not sure how this matter had been handled by the previous in- <br />spector, but this is part of the State Building Code. It was generally <br />felt that this had been a part of the building permit and this merely <br />seperated this from that permit. <br />Mr. Jaworski asked if the hot water system is not a part of the plumbing <br />and Mr. Kluegel said it was not. <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to approve this fee schedule. Seconded by Mr. <br />Kulaszewicz. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The matter of the Liquor License approvals will be on the June 9, 1980 <br />agenda. Mr. McLean moved to table. Seconded by Mr. Kulasewicz. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Gourley presented the following Resolution for Council consideration: <br />WHEREAS, the city of the Lino Lakes has undertaken the task of developing a <br />Comprehensive Land Use Plan pursuant to the Minnesota Land Planning Act, and, <br />WHEREAS, said plan was to have been submitted to the Metropolitan Council by <br />July 1, 1980, and, <br />WHEREAS, all phases of said plan have been completed and submitted to the <br />surrounding communities for their review on May 1, 1980, and,,. <br />WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lino Lakes realizes that the surrounding <br />communities will not have completed their review of said plan by July 1, 1980, <br />and, <br />WHEREAS, THE Council of the City of Lino Lakes therefore will not be able to <br />take final action on the Comprehensive Land Use Plan in order to meet the <br />July 1, 1980 deadline for submission of the plan to Metropolitan Council, and, <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council has adopted procedures for granting both <br />short term and long term extensions to the July 1, 1980 deadline, <br />BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City of Lino Lakes does hereby apply and <br />appeal to the Metropolitan Council for an extension of the short term of six <br />(6) months pursuant to the procedures adopted by the Metropolitan Council. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Lino Lakes will com- <br />plete it's work and final approval will be made on the Comprehensive plan <br />and that the plan will be submitted to the Metropolitan Council within the <br />six (6) month extension periods. <br />Mr. McLean moved to approve this Resolution, seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />An Ordinance granting Workers' Compensation coverage for public official's of <br />City of Lino Lakes was read by Mayor Gourley. This ordinance brings the city <br />
