Seconded by Mrs. Elsenpeter. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Gourley had; some commmunications from Milner Carley Which will be copied <br />for all Council Members. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to adjourn at 1:00 A.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Aye. <br />These minutes were considered, corrected and approved at a regular Council <br />Meeting held on June 9, 1980. <br />Edna L. Sarver Clerk -- Treasurer <br />Council Minutes <br />June 9, 1980 <br />The regular meeting of theiLino Lakes City Council was called to order at 7:30 <br />P.M., June 9, 1980, by Mayor Gourley, Council members present; Elsenpeter, <br />Jaworski, Kulaszewicz, McLean. Absent: none. Mr. Locher, Mr. Meister, and Mr. <br />Schumacher were also present. <br />The;minutesrof the May 27, 1980 were approved as written. <br />Mr. Kulaszewicz moved to approve the disbursementsas listed. Seconded by Mr. <br />McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Under the Open Mike portion, Mr. Robert Sulander had asked to speak in reference <br />to his request for outside storage. Mr. Sulander had appeared before the <br />Planning and Zoning Commission for review of this request. That Board had re- <br />commended approval. The Council had denied this request at the May 27, 1980 <br />meeting and had allowed Mr. Sulander 60 days to remove the materials now at <br />that location. <br />Mr. Sulander told the Council that it would be impossible for him to remove that <br />material within that time. He asked if there was any way he could get an ex- <br />tension to this time limit. <br />The .amount of materials now there was questioned, and it is quite a lot, also <br />the minimum time he would need to remove this material. Mr. Sulander said the <br />status of the market would determine the removal. <br />Mayor Gourley pointed out that Mr. Sulander was not denied this request because <br />he was not present, but because this type of operation was un acceptable. <br />Mr. Jaworski felt that if 60 days is not sufficient time, Mr. Sulander could <br />appear before the Council and request a time extension for the removal. The <br />consensus of the Council was that Mr. Sulander should follow this procedure. <br />The next person toispeak was Mr. Al Ross. He gave some background on the <br />existing ordinance dealing with the keeping of animals. He felt the five <br />acres should remain in the ordinance. He also felt the Planning and Zoning <br />Board should have all the necessary information on the requests presented to <br />them before they forward a recommendation to the Council.
