Council Meeting June 16, 1980 Page 3 The Council requested Mr. Carley to incorporate their suggestions into a revised study and have ready for the June 30, 1980 special Council meeting. The. Public Hearing on the, Lakes Add. #6 plat was called to order at 9:15 P.M. Mr. Schumacher presented the affadivate of publication. This plat has been submitted to RCWB and that body has .listed the items that must be complied with for approval. The Planning and Zoning had considered this plat at the May 22, 1980 meeting and recommended approval of the preliminary plat. Mr. Short had been concerned with the drainage easement on the South line of the lot but this had been eliminated. The Engineer had questioned the same drainage easement. There are 11 lots and all conform to Ordinance require- ments. The Park lands requirements have been satisfied. There was some discussion of the sewer service to'these Tots - there must be some changes - a'second lateral will need to be installed. 'There had been some preliminary plans to do some work - will wait and do it all at once. Mr. Jaworski moved to approve the preliminary plat of Lakes Add. #6. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Gourley noted that the Public- Hearing notice on .Ord. No. 56M had not been published in time for the scheduled hearing on June 16, 1980. He asked that this hearing be reset. Mr. McLeari moved to reset this hearing for June 30, 1980 at 9:00 P.M. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Schumacher presented the Council with a :list of copy machine with figures on several different Brands for comparision. Mr. Schumacher explained that al- though this is not in the budget, he felt the purchase of a new machine would save this City some expense - 1) in the purchase price at this time and 2) in the cost of supplies. He discussed the advantages of the Xerox - the machine he is recommending for purchase at this time Mrs. Elsenpeter asked how this would be paid for - it was suggested that a monthly payment be worked out for the remainder of 1980 and the balance be put in the 1981 budget. Mr. McLean asked if the interest could be pro -rated and Mr. Schumacher said, Yes. Mrs. Elsenpeter moved to purchase the Xerox 3100 with the stipulation that Balance & Contract be considered in the 1981 budget and that the interest be pro- rated. Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Schumacher presented Mr. Kluegel's proposal for a window to be installed in the buildin inspector's office. Mr. McLean moved to table this request until the budget hearings. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski'. Motion carri=ed unanimously.
