February 23, 1981 <br />Mrs. Elsenpeter noted that the first meeting of this Advisory Board will be held <br />on March 10, 1981. The Clerk is to mail notices to all members. <br />Mayor Gourley presented a petition for sewers to be installed from the Center of <br />Section 30 and Highway #49 on the South, North to 77th Street and West on Highway <br />#49 to the MMTC. The Clerk had checked the signatures and the front footage and <br />there is approximately 43% of the front footage represented by the signatures. <br />Mayor Gourley read the following prepared Resolution: <br />BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, <br />that: <br />1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of sanitary sewer along Hodgson <br />Road and Highway #49 between the intersection of Hodgson Road and the center <br />line of Section 30 on the South end of the proposed improvement and 77th Street <br />on the North end of the proposed improvement, and along Highway #49 to the <br />Minnesota Corrections Facility, filed with the City Council on February 23, 1981, <br />His. hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of the <br />property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity with Minn- <br />esota Statute, Section 429.035. <br />2. The petition is hereby referred to Peter Long of O.S.M. Engineering and he is <br />instructed to report to the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the <br />proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as <br />proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost <br />of the improvement as recommended. <br />Should said project not be approved, the cost of the study will be borne by the <br />petitioners. <br />Motion to approve this Resolution was made by Mrs. Elsenpeter. Seconded by Mr. <br />Jaworski. Motion carried with all members being present, and all members voting <br />in favor to the Resolution. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes, Minnesota, this 23rd day of <br />February, 1981. <br />Mr. Schumacher presented a list of financial institutions to be used as depositories <br />by the City and asked for approval of this list by the Council. Mr. McLean moved to <br />approve the list as presented. Seconded by Mr. Jaworski. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Schumacher presented the proposed contract as written by the Centervill Fire <br />Department. He pointed out that there are no figures for 1980 which could be used <br />in determining 1981 estimated cost projection for Lino Lakes. <br />Under Mr. Locher report, the matter of the Outlot in Shenandoah II was discussed and <br />the matter of the wording as to the use of this land as a ponding area was discussed. <br />Mr. Locher was instructed to amend the Deed in reference to the ponding area. <br />The amendment to Ordinance #22A was considered. There eas some questions as to the <br />wording in regards to who should be required to install concrete curbs and who <br />should not. Mr. Jaworski moved to table and be put on the agenda for March 9, 1981. <br />Seconded by Mr. McLean. Motion carried unanimously. <br />The Council considered a request from Mrs. Elsenpeter to change the name of Ulmer <br />
