MEETING DATE: <br />TOPIC: <br />VOTE REQUIRED: <br />BACKGROUND <br />AGENDA ITEM 6.C. <br />Paul Bengtson <br />November 26, 2007 <br />Consideration of Resolution No. 07 -189: <br />Fran's Estate <br />• Preliminary Plat Extension of Time <br />• Variance Extension of Time <br />Simple Majority <br />On January 8, 2007 the City Council adopted Resolution No. 07 -01, approving the Preliminary <br />Plat and Variances for Fran's Estate, a two lot residential subdivision on the north side of Birch <br />Street, approximately 150 feet east of Totem Trail. <br />Preliminary Plats are required to be final platted within 12 months, and the applicant has <br />indicated that he will not be able to meet this deadline. He is now requesting a nine month <br />extension of time to allow him to prepare the final plat submittal. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff is recommending adoption of Resolution No. 07 -189 approving an extension of the <br />Preliminary Plat and Variance approvals, subject to the following conditions: <br />1. The Final Plat for Fran's Estate must be submitted by September 8, 2008; unless an <br />additional extension is granted by the City Council. <br />2.
