018 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />February 24, 1986 <br />Page Eighteen <br />Mayor Benson said the main point of his memorandum is that <br />all agenda items should be placed on the agenda through the <br />Administrator's office. Most items that have appeared under <br />Old Business or New Business have been house- keeping items <br />and there has been no problem. <br />Mr. Bisel felt it would be good to publish the agenda. However, <br />this would be costly. There is the possibility the agenda <br />could be put on Cable TV. <br />B. Rice Creek Watershed District Funding for County Ditch #22 <br />- Mr. Schumacher explained there will be no committment from <br />RCWD until after their meeting on February 26, 1986. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Council Liaison Reports - Mayor Benson - Mayor Benson asked <br />that each liaison present an update report at the last meeting <br />of each month. This should help alleviate the communication <br />problems. <br />B. Citizen's Advisory Committee to the County Parks - Mr. Bohjanen <br />said this committee had been established a number of years <br />ago and has been inactive because there has not been many <br />functions. The County wants this committee to become active <br />again and the Park Board would like Bill Nissen to represent <br />them. Mr. McLean, an original member of that committee is <br />still available. Mr. Bohjanen will contact Mr. Nissen to <br />see if he is available as the second member of that committee. <br />C. Mr. Marier asked :Ir. Schumacher to research why 55% of the <br />Circle Pines City Administrator's time is charged to the gas <br />utility. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to adjourn at 10:15 P.M.
