1
1
1
COUNCIL MEETING
March 24, 1986
Page Eleven
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage and publication according to City Charter.
Passed by the City Council this day of , 1986.
Marilyn G. Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer
PLANNING AND ZONING REPORT - PETER KLUEGEL
A. Conditional Use Permit Advertising Billboard Sign - Schubert
Outdoor Advertising, Inc. Mr. Kluegel said this proposed sign
is to be located on the Roger Acton property adjacent to 35E.
The property is zoned Light Industrial (LI). The proposed sign
meets all the requirements of the City Sign Ordinance and the
Planning and Zoning Board have recommended approval.
Mr. Bisel explained that the Planning and Zoning Board had given
this item good consideration and moved to approve the application.
Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
B. Metes and Bounds Conveyance, House Move -In - Emmett Solberg.
Mr. Kluegel explained Mr. Solberg has requested to subdivide ten
acres with 330' of frontage from his present sixty acre parcel
in the Rural zone. This property is located on 20th Avenue. The
second portion of this request is for a house move -in. The house
is presently located in New Brighton and is a three bedroom ramb-
ler with a two car garage. The house meets City Codes and it is
recommended that a mound type septic system be required. The
Planning and Zoning Board has recommended approval of both of
these requests because it is consistent with both the Comprehensive
Land Use Plan and the Zoning Ordinance. The Park fee of $160.00
is required and the Planning and Zoning Board has recommended a
shallow basement because of the high ground water.
039
