104 COUNCIL METING May 27, 1986 Page Fifteen SECOND READING ORDINANCE 1102 - 86, LOT PROVISIONS Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the second reading of Ordinance #02 - 86 and dispense with the reading. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS Mr. Schumacher explained that the Metropolitan Council is upgrad- ing their framework and the Task Force will be providing some comments to Met Council. The Task Force comments will include enlarging the boundaries of the urban service district. Mr. Mar - ier asked that the Task Force comments be returned to the Task Force for further study. The Council will meet with the Task Force at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday June 4, 1986 and this item can be discussed at that time. NEW BUSINESS A. Accepting Joseph Sacco's Resignation From The Park Board and Authorization to Advertise for Replacement - Mr. Marier moved to accept Mr. Sacco's resignation and send a letter of thanks. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. Mr. Marier moved to advertise the open Park Board position. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion declared passed. Mr. Marier moved to compile a list of costs on West Shadow Lake Drive due to the flooding and authorized Mr. Schumacher to ap- ply for emergency funds for reimbursement of expenditures due to the recent flooding. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Benson noted the letter he received from the Civil Defense Director requesting payment of wages for Ciitil Defense personnel who operated the shuttle during the flooding. He noted if this were granted it would in effect be a policy change. Mayor Bern n suggested including this in the costs submitted for reimbursem. t. Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 10:20 P.M.
