1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />103 <br />CODICIL MEETING <br />May 27, 1986 <br />Page Fourteen <br />A. Update 24th Avenue Bridge (Border between Lino Lakes and Hugo) - <br />Mr. Toddie has contacted the Washington County Engineer and has <br />determined that the present bridge is 23 feet wide and should be <br />36 feet wide. The width deficiency is the reason the bridge is <br />eligible for bridge funding through MnDOT. Lino Lakes portion <br />of the cost of replacing the bridge will be approximately $6,000.00. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve replacement of the present.bridge. <br />Mr..Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to continue the meeting until 10:15 P.M. Mr. <br />Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />B. Dennis Erickson Feasibility Study - Mr. Toddie has estimated <br />that the cost of the feasibility_ for the, Erickson Plat will be <br />$2,000.00. <br />Mr. Marier moved in light of the Council action tonight regarding <br />the rezone request and Comprehensive Land use Amendment request <br />to bring this back to Erickson to see if he will pay for the study <br />and if so go ahead with the study. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />C. Authorizing Advertising for, Bids for Rice Lake Estates Well - <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the advertising for bids. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />A. Reiling Easements for Rice Lake Estates Project - Mr. Hawkins <br />explained that Mr, Reiling has been approached to give permanent <br />easements for utilities for this project. Mr. Reiling has not <br />been cooperative and Mr. Hawkins asked permission to proceed with <br />eminent domain. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to authorize Mr. Hawkins to proceed with eminent <br />domain. Mr. Marier seconded the motion adding that maybe a second <br />attempt should be made to see if he is willing to give the ease- <br />ments. Motion carried unanimously. <br />SECOND READING, ORDINANCE #03 - 86, DELETING 401.31 DEPOST FROM <br />CITY CODE <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the second reading of Ordinance #03 - 86 <br />and dispense with the reading. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. <br />Motion declared passed. Ordinance is printed in the May 12, 1986 <br />Council minutes. <br />
