152 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />July 28, 1986 <br />Page Fourteen <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, MINN- <br />ESOTA: <br />1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof, are being approved. <br />2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the <br />official paper an advertisement for bids upon the making of <br />such improvement under such approved plans and specifications. <br />The advertisement shall be published for twenty -one (21) days <br />shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will <br />be opened and considered by the Council at 10:00 A.M. on <br />September 4, 1986, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, <br />1189 Main Street, and that no bids will be considered unless <br />sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a cash <br />deposit, cashier's check, bid bond or certified check pay- <br />able to the City Clerk for 5 per cent of the amount of <br />such bid. <br />Passed and adopted this 27th day of May, 1986. <br />Benjami <br />ari\lyn• -G. Mr. Stallberg <br />has been notified that plans for the improvement of Main Street from <br />Sunset Avenue to 35W have been completed and should be available for <br />consideration at the next Council Meeting. <br />E. Status of Well #2, Rice Lake Estates. Mr. Stallberg told the <br />Council there is a preconstruction meeting scheduled for next week. <br />There are already some materials on site. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to extend the Council Meeting to 10:30 P.M. Mr. <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />A. Bruggeman Construction Letter of Credit. Mr. Hawkins explained <br />that Bruggeman Construction has requested that the City draw on <br />$75,000.00 of the $80,000.00 Letter of Credit for payment to the <br />contractor who blacktopped a street in West Oaks of Bald Eagle. <br />1 <br />
