Consideration Of Application from North Central Public Service
for Rice Lake Estates - Mr. Stallberg noted a letter from Bob Toddie
which indicates that the application from North Central conforms
with all City Codes. Mr. Schumacher said he is waiting for further
information from the Public Utilities Commission on this request
and how it affects the gas franchises. Mayor Benson noted he had
received a telephone call from a member of the gas franchise nego-
tiating committee asking that the Council not take action on this
matter until further information is received.
Mr. Marier moved to table this item. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
C. 4th Avenue Plans and Specifications, Re- affirm Resolution #12 -86.
Mr. Stallberg explained the final plans for 4th Avenue have been
completed and now require the signature of the Mayor so they can
be sent to the MSA for final approval. The plans include ditch
cleaning, reconstruction of the roadway and drainage structures.
Mr. Davidson has recently talked to Mr. LeBlond regarding the under-
ground pipe across his property. This is the main outlet to get
water over to ditch #22. He does not anticipate a problem with ob-
taining a permanent easement from Mr. LeBlond.
Mr. Marier moved with cost figures being stable to approve the 4th
Avenue plans and to reaffirm Resolution #12 -86.
