1 CONCLUSION
1
1
I want to express my thanks to the many volunteers who took
part in the operation of the City this past year. Members-of the
many boards, committees and senior center certainly added to the
progress of the City. You can be sure you are appreciated.
Many of the programs instituted in 1986 and throughout 1987
are designed to position the City for it's expected growth. I
feel very confident that sound orderly development will be a part
of Lino's future. As a Council I feel we must plan further into
the future keeping in mind that changes must be made as we progress
down the road.
As a City we must strive to do a better job of communicating
within its current structure and with outside agencies. Difficult
decisions will face the City in the future. We must be prepared
to cope with the problems seeking fair solutions for all residents
and the City as a whole.
I want to also express my thanks to the City Council and all
City employees for their support and cooperation this past year.
It has taken all of us working as a team to accomplish the growth
we have achieved this far and planned growth we expect in the
future. I would hope that all of us look upon goals and objectives
as steps leading to personal success as well as the overall success
of the City. Personal initiative and input into the City operations
are welcomed and encouraged.
023
