067
COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 27, 1987
IMr. Volk explained that the next piece of equipment is a backstop for
Shenandoah Park. The area proposed for a ballfield has poor soils and
will not support equipment that would be needed for construction or
maintenance of a regulation ballfield. Therefore he is proposing that
this be a neighborhood ballfield with a backstop only. There will be
no outfield fencing. The Park Board is recommending that the Council
accept the low bid for this downsized unorganized field.
Mr. Bisel moved to accept the Century Fence Company bid of $1,437.00.
Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
PLANNING AND ZONING REPORT - PETE KLUEGEL
Ado t 1985 Uniform Buildin. and State Buildin• Code First Readin•.
Ordinance No. 09 - 87 - Mr. Kluegel explained that he is requesting
that the Council adopt this ordinance.
