Mr. <br />Schumacher noted that Mr. Teach was a quality employee with a degree. <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve a 5% raise or $850. and $500 every six <br />months until the full $3,000 is attained. Mr. Bisel seconded the <br />motion. Mr. Schumacher said this would bring him up to the <br />commendable level. Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />Marilyn Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer - Mr. Marier felt this position <br />should be handled in the same manner as the Administrative Assistant. <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve a 5% increase or $968 and $500 starting <br />January 1, 1987 and every six months until the full $2,632 is <br />attained. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Mr. Reinert said that this <br />employee has been working for the City a long time and felt that she <br />should be brought into Comparable Worth faster because of tenure and <br />the worth of the employee to the City. Mr. Marier noted that in the <br />previous case the individual has a degree. Mayor Benson agreed with <br />Mr. Reinert. Voting on the motion, motion failed. <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve a salary adjustment of 5% or $968 for <br />performance and bring the Comparable Worth into adjustment in a two <br />year period. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Secretaries - Mr. Bohjanen moved to increase these salaries by fifty <br />cents from $6.00 per hour to $6.50 per hour. Mr. Reinert seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Randy Schumacher, Administrator - Mr. Bisel moved to approve a salary <br />adjustment of 5.5% or $2,255. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Mr. <br />Reinert noted that the Administror has not been specifically dealt <br />with and suggested that the Council hold a meeting on this position. <br />Mayor Benson asked that the goals and objectives be detailed. He <br />would like to see a plan that shows where the Administrator thinks he <br />should go and also the Council has not given him any specific <br />direction. Mr. Marier agreed. Voting on the motion, motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Schumacher updated the Council on the progress of the Police Union <br />Contract.
