148
COUNCIL MEETING JUNE 8, 1987
Center Oaks to Centerville Lake. Mr. Schumacher has met with Mrs.
Langfeld, RCWD and the Anoka County Parks Department and each agency
along with Lino Lakes and Centerville will share in the cost of
cleaning this ditch.
Mr. Schumacher was asked to thank RCWD in that this problem will be
solved. Mr. Schumacher told the Council that the project will
probably cost under $10,000 unless easements have to be purchased.
Policy Regarding Driveway Aprons or Approaches - Mr. Schumacher
explained that the County has upgraded Sunset Road and has replaced
driveway aprons on both sides of the street. There is a problem
concerning a Lino Lakes resident who had two driveways onto his
property prior to the reconstruction of Sunset Road. The County has
replaced one driveway apron but has asked the City to establish a
policy regarding more than one driveway apron. It was decided to let
the County know that this City does not have a policy and the County
can negotiate with the resident if they so desire. Mr. Davidson
suggested that when this City does establish a guideline for this
situation, they might take into consideration if the lot can be
divided and another residence established.
League Conference - Mrs. Anderson asked for a final decision on who
would be attending the Conference. Mr. Bisel and Mr. Reinert will be
attending. Mayor Benson said he could not make it for the entire
conference but may take in some seminars. Mr. Davidson invited all
Council Members who were attending the Conference to join him for
dinner at Michaels in Rochester.
Mr. Bohjanen moved to adjourn at 9:23 P.M. Mr. Reinert seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously.
These minutes were considered and approved at a regular council
meeting on June 22 1987.
MAR L 0 G.
