190 <br />COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 10. 1987 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council w3s :-ailed to or, <br />at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Benson, Council Members l sf nt: Bisel, <br />Bohjanen, Reinert. Council Members absent: Marie/. City Attorney, <br />Bill Hawkins; Lngineers, Ron Stahlberg and Ralph Clare; Rob Tautges, <br />City Auditor: Public Works Director, Don Volk; Building Inspector, <br />Peter K1 uegf l ; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk-Treasurer, <br />Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES - JULY 27. 1987. <br />Mrs. Anderson had asked that three areas of the minutes be corrected: <br />1) . Page 1 , last paragraph, omit the second .line which reads, "At <br />this time Mr. Hawkins has not completed his review of the <br />abstract for this property." <br />2 ) . <br />Page 10, next to last paragraph, this line should read as <br />follows; "Mr. Reinert moved to approve application No. 87 -19 with <br />the recommendations of the P & Z Board except that the City will <br />not be responsible if there is an impact of funding a new mort- <br />gage or sale of the property." <br />3) Page 12, second paragraph, omit the "why" following the para- <br />graph. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the minutes as corrected. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />July 30. 1987 - Mr. Reinert moved to approve these Disbursements as <br />presented. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Auiust 10. 1987 - Mr. Bisel moved to approve these Disbursements as <br />presented. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Gary Dahl, 216 Ulmer Drive -- Mr. Dahl addressed the Council regarding <br />a proposed outdoor music amphitheater scheduled for construction in <br />the City of Blaine very near the Lino Lakes western boundary with <br />Blaine. Mr. Dahl urged this City Council to take a good look at this <br />proposal with the idea of trying to stop the construction or at the <br />very least establishing controls. He explained that this facility is <br />proposed to seat about 20,000 people with parking for about 7,200 <br />cars. Concerts will be presented from mid-May through mid-Septemberil <br />PAGE 1 <br />
