1 <br />1 <br />7 <br />COUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 10 4` 7 <br />started to revoke the Sampair's Conditional Use Permit. Mr. Bisel <br />moved to authorize Mr. Kluegel to institute the proeess to revoke the <br />Conditional Use Permit per Ordinance requirements. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Roland Ford Update - Mr. Kluegel reported that he did meet with Mr. <br />P'ord and his attorney on Tuesday, August 4th. Mr. Ford's attorney <br />left that meeting with an idea of what is to be done with the <br />property. Mr. Kluegel is waiting for the judge to set a court date <br />for Mr. Ford's appearance. <br />Luthers Sport Shop -- Mr. Schumacher reported that he has been world =_g <br />with Mr. Duncanson and a purchase agreement has been completed with <br />Acton Construction for a site near 05E and Main Street. This area is <br />correctly zoned for Mr. Duncanson's operation. This matter should be <br />completed within 30 days. <br />Street Lights - Mayor Benson reminded' Mr. Volk that several street <br />lights were ordered by the Council some time ago and the lights still <br />have not been installed by NSP. Mr. Volk explained that he did order <br />the lights and this order was placed on NSP's waiting list. Mr. Volk <br />will follow up on this matter. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Status Report. of Lake Animal Care, Inc. -- Mrs. Anderson explained that <br />a hand delivered cancellation notice was given to her early last week. <br />Mr. Angley, owner of Lake Animal. Care explained that the business took <br />too many hours and that he was tired and just quitting the business. <br />He also indicated that he would be letting the City know where the <br />City could obtain these services. <br />Letter of Resignation of Edward LaTuff as Chairman of the Centennial <br />Fire District - Mr. Bisel moved to accept Mr. LaTuff's resignation and <br />send him a letter of thanks. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />Mr. Tom Weirens has submitted his resignation from the Economic <br />Development Committee indicating that he was not aware of how much <br />time was needed on his part on this committee. Mr. Bisel moved to <br />accept Mr. Weirens resignation and send him a letter of thanks. Mr. <br />Rohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimouosly. <br />Mr. Richard Tauhe, 614 Barbara Lane has submitted a letter to the <br />Council expressing his feelings on development in his area. <br />East Ash Street - Mr. Schumacher explained that there will be a <br />meeting next week with Dick Widel1, Ramsey County regarding getting <br />PAGE IR <br />
