227 <br />1OUNCIL MEETING AUGUST 24, 1987 ' <br />2456 - 125th Avenue, Blaine, Minnesota, is the lowest res- <br />ponsible bidder, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into the attached contract with Bituminous Consulting & Contract - <br />ing in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the improvement of <br />Deer Pass Trail according to the plans and specifications there- <br />for approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the <br />City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth- <br />with to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except <br />that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest <br />bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Lino Lakes this 24th day of August, <br />1987. <br />Maril <br />t J / <br />Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />Mr. Hawkins did not have a report. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Update Animal Control - Mrs. Anderson explained that the Anoka County <br />Humane Society has promised to provide animal control coverage for <br />Lino Lakes and several other communities. The fees have not yet been <br />established. Mrs. Anderson will keep the Council informed on this <br />matter. <br />Ampitheater - Planner's Letter - Mr. Schumacher explained a petition <br />had been received after the last Council meeting. The petition <br />requests this Council to request that the Metropolitan Council conduct <br />a Metropolitan Review of Significance and also request a Special <br />Facilites review of the amphitheater proposal. An EAW has been <br />eceived from the City of Blaine and Mr. Miller has highlighted areas <br />f concern that may affect Lino Lakes. Mr. Schumacher has prepared a <br />AGE 17 <br />
