COUNCIL MEETING - 01 7 <br />September 22, 1986 <br />IThe regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to <br />order at 7:13 P.M. by Mayor Benson. Council members present: Mar - <br />ier, Bisel, Bohjanen, Reinert. Members absent: none. City Attor- <br />ney, Bill Hawkins; Engineers, John Davidson and Ron Stahlberg; Pub- <br />lic Works Director, Don Volk; Building Inspector, Pete Kiuegel; City <br />Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk- Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson <br />were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES - SEPTEMBER 8, 1986 <br />Mr. Marier moved to approve the minutes as presented. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Motion carried with Mr. Reinert abstaining. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the Disbursements as presented. Mr. <br />Reinert seconded the motion. Mr. Marier asked if Mr..Hawkins will <br />mail the checks for right -of -way acquisition on.4th Avenue. Mrs. <br />Anderson said she would give them to him tonight. Mr. Hawkins ex- <br />plained that acceptance of the checks would not invalidate the pro- <br />perty owners right to negotiate for additional compensation. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />1110PEN MIKE <br />No one appeared under Open Mike. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF A TEXT AMENDMENT,- ORDINANCE #08 -- 86, <br />SECOND READING <br />Mr. Marier moved -to approve:the second:reading of Ordinance #08-86: - <br />Mr. -Bisel seconded the motion -. Motion passed -unanimously-Mrs.- <br />Anderson read the ordinance- (Ordinance #08- 86 --is contained in the <br />minutes of September 8, 1986 -.) <br />IMPROVEMENT HEARING - 4TH AVENUE (RON STAHLBERG) <br />Mr. Stahlberg explained that there has been several meetings regard- <br />ing the upgrading of 4th Avenue and cleaning of County Ditch #22, <br />however, this meeting is called to fulfill the requirements of the <br />state statutes and the Lino Lakes City Charter. Mr. Stahlberg out- <br />lined what has occurred to date regarding this project. <br />Mr. Stahlberg noted that about 46% of the drainage on the project <br />or approximately $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 does not qualify for state <br />aid funding. All or a portion of this amount will be assessed to <br />the property owners. <br />
