030 <br />1 <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />Resolution 143 - 86 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 22, 1986 <br />Page Fourteen <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF 4TH AVENUE AND THE <br />CLEANING OF COUNTY DITCH 122 <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the improvement <br />of 4th Avenue from Lilac Street on the south to Main <br />Street (County #14) on the north, bids were received, <br />opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br />bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Forest Lake Contracting, $535,494.55; Hardrives, Inc., <br />$569,952.55; Lametti & Sons, $656,000.00, and <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Forest Lake Contracting of Columbus Town- <br />ship, 55025 is the lowest responsible bidder, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LINO LAKES, <br />MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter <br />into the attached contract with Forest Lake Contracting of Columbus <br />Townhsip in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the improvement <br />of 4th Avenue and the cleaning of Ditch #22 from Lilac Street to <br />Main Street (County #14) by cleaning Ditch #22 and upgrading <br />4th Avenue according to the plans and specifications therefor <br />approved by the City Council and on file in the office of. the <br />City Clerk - Treasurer; <br />2. The City Clerk-Treasurer i is hereby. authorized_ and directed_to <br />return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their <br />bids, except that the deposit of the successful bidder and the <br />next bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the City Council this twenty- second day of September, 1986. <br />Benjamin G. Rice Lake Estates Assessments Revisions - Mr. Stahlberg explained <br />here were two parcels assessed for street improvement that are al- <br />eady on an improved street. He is adjusting these assessments to <br />reflect this change. These parcels are 30- 31 -22 -24 -0002 and <br />19- 31 -22 -34 -0001. There are some lots on 2nd Avenue that are un- <br />buildable and therefore the assessments will be eliminated. They <br />
