031 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />September 22, 1986 <br />Page Fifteen <br />IITOe identified as lots 9, 10 and 11, Golden's Rice Lake Terrace. <br />RNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />Mr. Hawkins has written a letter to Roger Nelson who was awarded the <br />bid on the Black Duck lots currently owned by the City. Mr. Hawkins <br />advised him the City will take legal actionif he does not set a clos- <br />ing date for the sale. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />A. Set Date for Strategic Planning Workshop - The dates were set for <br />October 24th and 25th. Several council members presented their topic <br />subjects to Mayor Benson. Mayor Benson will check the rates of some <br />establishments so that a location for this meeting can be arranged: <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />A. Consideration of Columbus Township Resolution Regarding Pine Street - <br />Mr. Schumacher explained this resolution attempts to set a specific <br />schedule for the maintenance of Pine Street and sharing of the costs. <br />He did feel some of the language should be defined clearer. Mr. Mar - <br />ier asked that the resolution be refined and 'returned to the Council <br />for action. <br />III Tax Forfeit Lots - Mrs. Anderson had prepared a map showing eight <br />is that have tax forfeited to the state. She asked the Council to <br />consider if the City should purchase them for resale -since there are <br />large assessments against each lot. The Council asked that the assess- <br />ments for each-- lot-be determined and place this item on the next Coun- <br />cil agenda. <br />C. - Budget Meeting_Date - The third budget meeting was -set for 6:30 P.M., <br />Monday, October 6, 1986. <br />Mr. Marier moved to adjourn at 11:00 P.M.
