SPECIAL MEETING <br />January 12, 1987 <br />Page Two <br />Municipal water - Currently there are 220 hookups available on the <br />Black Duck water system and 140 are already connected or application <br />has been made for them. Mr. Stahlberg outlined other areas who have <br />approached the City for possible connection, and he suggested it is <br />now time for the Council to consider elevated storage. There was <br />discussion of how long it would take to get this facility in place. <br />Proposed schedule: assuming the Comprehensive Land Use Plan is <br />adopted in February, the public hearing would be in March, the im- <br />provement hearing then would be held and the 60 day waiting period would <br />start then. Plans and Specifications could be ordered in April, <br />bids accepted in mid May and construction could start in June. Mr. <br />Marier asked that the Planning and Zoning Board be encouraged to <br />have their final meeting on the Comprehensive Plan before the end <br />of January so that the Council could have the plan by February <br />9th. <br />Mayor Benson noted that if the preliminary plats are approved tonight <br />the Council would probably expect the final plats for April approval. <br />The Council recessed at 7:06 P.M. <br />These minutes were considered and approved on this the 12th day <br />of January 1986. <br />MARILYN G.
