COUNCIL MEETING January 12, 1987 Page Fourteen explained the present pump had been pulled and serviced two years ago and is in good condition. Mr. Miers asked what type of wier system will be used at the holding pond. Mr. Stahlberg said probably the same as used in the Uhde sub- division. Mayor Benson said the Council will probably direct the City Engineer to require the wier system to be much more rigid than present standards. Mr. Schumacher asked Mr. Stahlberg if he were satisfied with the soil borings and grading plan. Mr. Stahlberg said he has questions and needs a final grading plan but this will be resolved. Elwin LaMotte - 6497 - 12th Avenue explained he has a barbed wire hot fence on the eastern border of this plat. He suggested the developer should install chain link fence to protect the residents. Mr. Bisel moved to close the public hearing at 11:46 P.M. Mr. Boh- janen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Mr. Bisel moved to approve the application for a rezone #86 -43 con- tingent upon the Comprehensive Land Use Plan amendments being ap- proved by Metro Council and approve the first reading of Ordinance Number 02 -87. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
