Administration. <br />The administration of Development District No. 1 shall continue <br />to be assigned to the City Administrator who shall from time to time <br />be granted such powers and duties pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Sec- <br />tions 472A.09 and 472A.10 as the City Council may deem appropriate. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilmember Bohjanen, and upon vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor thereof; Bohjanen, Bisel, Reinert, Benson. <br />and the following voted against the same: Marier: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted <br />and was signed by the Mayor and attested by the City Administrator. <br />Dated: January 26, 1987. <br />Attest: <br />City Administrator <br />CONSIDERATION OF AWARDING BIDS FOR DUMP BODY.AND SNOW PLOWING <br />EQUIPMENT <br />Mr. Volk explained the first bid is for snow plowing equipment. <br />There were four bidders, all followed the specifications <br />and are reputable businesses. He recommended the Council <br />approve the low bid. <br />Mr. Marier moved to accept the low bid of $9,758.00 from <br />Crystal Truck Equipment. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />Mr. Bisel asked why he did not combine the bids for the equipment <br />with the bid for the truck. Mr. Volk explained it has been <br />his experience'that the truck dealer does as he did here <br />and asks for bids. He then adds on a percentage for his <br />work. This process eliminates the dealer percentage. <br />103 <br />
