COUNCIL MEETING <br />January 26, 1987 <br />Mr. Schumacher noted he had met with Mrs. Langfeld and she had <br />indicated to him that if bridge bonding is not funded by the <br />legislature this year this project will be delayed another year. <br />Mr. Stahlberg and Mr. Volk will negotiate with Mrs. Carlson re- <br />garding the ditch and bring this information back to the Council. <br />Status of Rice Lake Estates - Mr. Stahlberg told the Council that <br />Rice Lake Estates is complete except for the second lift of black- <br />top on the street. All the pipes have been tested, the pumps are <br />in the lift station and some electrical has yet to be completed, <br />the pump house has to be built and the clean up and seeding will <br />be done this spring. The manholes in the street may need to be <br />adjusted. <br />Update Main Street Curb and Gutter - Mr. Stahlberg explained this <br />project is scheduled for bid letting in the spring and construc- <br />tion to be completed in 1987. This is to be an agenda item for <br />the next Council Meeting with notices sent to all landowners. <br />Request to Extend Utility Services on Ware Road - A request has <br />been received to extend services to a five acre parcel on Ware <br />Road. Mr. Schumacher explained that if the Council so wishes a <br />feasibility study can be made with the landowner paying the ex- <br />penses for the study. <br />Mr. Stahlberg recommended proceeding with the feasibility study on <br />the assumption that an agreement with Shoreview can be reached and <br />the landowner understands that he must hook up to the Lino Lakes <br />system when it becomes available. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />Mr. Hawkins did not have a report. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Cable. Cast February 9, 1987 Council Meeting - Mr. Schumacher told <br />the Council that this meeting will be taped but not broadcasted <br />so that the Council can look at the tape and make a decision for <br />future cablecasting. <br />Park Boad Chairman - Mayor Benson said Ray Johnson will remain as <br />Park Board Chairman. <br />Planning and Zoning Board Chairman - Mayor Benson said it has been <br />brought to his attention that if the Council wishes this Board to <br />become a five member Board an ordinance will have to be drafted to <br />effect the change. <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
