002 <br />COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 14, 1987 <br />1 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called to order <br />by Acting Mayor, Vernon Reinert at 7:05 P.M. Council Members present: <br />Bisel, Marier, Bohjanen. Mayor Benson arrived at 8:15 P.M. City <br />Attorney, Bill Hawkins; Engineer, Ron Stahlberg; Building Inspector, <br />Pete Kluegel; Administrator, Randy Schumacher and Clerk - Treasurer, <br />Marilyn Anderson were also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Work Session, August 24, 1987 - Mr. Marier moved to approve these <br />minutes as presented. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />Regular Session, August 24, 1987 - Mr. Bisel moved to approve these <br />minutes as presented. Mr. Marier seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />August 31, 1987 - Mr. Marier moved to approve these Disbursements as <br />presented. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />September 14,1987 - Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve these Disbursements <br />as presented. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Mr. Bisel questioned <br />the air conditioning expense. Mr. Schumacher explained this is for <br />replacing a thirteen year old air conditioner which was beyond repair. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE_ <br />Gary Barott, 681 Birch Street - Mr. Barrott inquired about the <br />road -way in Shenandoah II that leads south from this subdivision. He <br />explained that when it rains this road way is not passable and it is <br />the only entrance to his property. It was his understanding that this <br />was to be blacktopped. <br />Mr. Stahlberg described this section of roadway and explained that <br />sometime in the future when the property to the south is developed <br />sanitary sewer and municipal water will be supplied to the south <br />through this roadway. He felt it did not make much sense to blacktop <br />the roadway when it would have to be torn up in the future. Mr. <br />Barott explained that originally he did not want the roadway in the <br />position that it is now since it is most often inpassable. He would <br />just like the developer to upgrade it enough so that he can get to <br />property. <br />PAGE 1 <br />
