1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />003 <br />COUNCIL MEETING SEPTEMBER 14, 1987 <br />Mr. Marier moved that the agreement between the developer and Mr. <br />Barott be carried out to the full extent and be completed by November, <br />1987. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />There was further discussion regarding whether or not this roadway <br />should be blacktopped and Mr. Marier and Mr. Bohjanen withdrew their <br />motion. <br />Mr. Stahlberg will check on this matter and get back to Mr. Barott. <br />Mr. Barott asked if there was sewer available to his forty acres. Mr. <br />Stahlberg explained that his land is within the MUSA boundary and if <br />it is feasible, the service was available. He would need to see a <br />layout to determine if it is feasible. <br />Mr. Barott asked how the trunk water main that is to be installed <br />along Birch Street was to be paid. Mr. Stahlberg explained through <br />area charges and connection fees. Presently it will be paid by a <br />revolving fund. <br />Larry Biehn, Centennial High School - Mr. Biehn and student council <br />President, Jeff Gresback, appeared before the Council to present pins <br />and a flag for display in the Council. This presentation is in <br />recognization of the School of Excellance Award received by Centennial <br />Schools. Mr. Biehn noted that he will be traveling to Washington <br />D. C. with several other representatives of Centennial Schools to <br />receive a plaque and attend a program by the National Education <br />Committee. He noted that a large portion of the basis for the award <br />is the community involvement with the school district. Mr. Reinert <br />thanked Mr. Biehn for the presentation and explained it was an honor <br />for this <br />Council to extend the very best to the School District. <br />Mr. Biehn asked that Mayor Benson be thanked for his nice letter to <br />the Centennial District. <br />CABLE TV STATUS REPORT - MIKE CUSICK <br />Mr. Cusick was unable to attend the Council meeting tonight because of <br />a Cable TV budget meeting. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 48 - 87, DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND ORDERING <br />PREPARATION OF REPORT ON 74TH STREET <br />A petition was presented at the September 14, 1987 Council meeting <br />requesting upgrading of 74th Street. Resolution No. 48 - 87 is <br />requesting a feasibility report for the petitioners. Mr. Bisel moved <br />to adopt Resolution No. 48 - 87. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />PAGE 2 <br />
