Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. Ordinance No. 19 - 87 is written in the <br />September 14, 1987 Council minutes. <br />SECOND READING - ORDINANCE NO. 20 - 87, REZONING LOT NORTH OF BALDWIN <br />LAKE COURT <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the second reading of Ordinance No. 20 <br />87 and dispense with the reading. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. Ordinance No. 20 - 87 is written in the <br />September 14, 1987 Council minutes. <br />SET PUBLIC HEARING FOR 1160 MAIN STREET FAULTY SEPTIC IMPROVEMENT <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to set the public hearing for October 26, 1987 at <br />7:30 P.M. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimouosly. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT - RON STAHLBERG <br />Consideration and Approval of Amending the Lino Lakes /Circle Pines <br />Water Utility Joint Powers Agreement - Mr. Schumacher explained the <br />agreement to the Council. Mr. Bisel question item *5 of the <br />agreement concerning depreciation of the water tower. He asked about <br />the depreciation of the Lino Lakes well. Mr. Schumacher explained <br />that there is no depreciation on either the Lino Lakes or Circle Pines <br />well. The depreciation on the water tower will continue until Lino <br />Lakes builds a tower. Mr. Bisel noted that Circle Pines is have water <br />quality problems. There was a question about how the $8,000 <br />depreciation value was calculated. Mr. Bisel asked if this City had <br />explored other possibilities such as hooking up to Shoreview. Mr. <br />Stahlberg explained the distance would make that cost prohibitive. <br />There was further discussion regarding how the depreciation was <br />calculated. <br />Mayor Benson asked for further clarification on the depreciation <br />question. Mr. Bisel moved to table this item until answers regarding <br />depreciation were determined. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried with Mayor Benson voting no. Mr. Stahlberg explained <br />that this joint powers agreement is following the overall master plan <br />outlined some time ago. <br />ATTORNEY'S REPORT - BILL HAWKINS <br />Vacation of Shenandoah Park Procedure - Set Public Hearing for October <br />26. 1987 at 7:45 P.M., Resolution No. 59 - 87 - Mr. Hawkins explained <br />that when the original Shenandoah Park was vacated, the Council used <br />PAGE 6 <br />
