Marier
Harold L. Bisel
Vernon F. Reinert
William I. Bohjanen
Mr. Bisel moved to accept the Municipal Canvass Board Report
as presented. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion
carried unanimously.
Mayor Benson noted the large number of registered voters in
Precinct #2 and asked when it would be necessary to divide
this Precinct. Mrs. Anderson explained that precincts over
1500 voters should be considered for division. The Council
did discuss how Precinct #2 could be divided and noted the
lack of another public building large enough to hold an
election.
Another matter of discussion was the ballots cast without
the voter voting for the mayor and for two council members.
The Clerk noted that these were not considered spoiled
ballots and all votes were counted even if the ballot
contained one vote for one candidate.
Mr. Bisel moved to adjourn at 7:10 P.M. Mr. Bohjanen
seconded the motion. Aye.
PAGE 2
