1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />113 <br />COUNCIL MEETING DECEMBER 14, 1987 <br />Mr. Marier moved to acquire a third squad in 1988 and give the <br />Administrator the flexibility to find funds from the Administration of <br />the Budget and this would be contigent upon purchasing only one squad <br />in 1989. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. Mr. Reinert said he was concerned because although the <br />need for the third vehicle is there, he did not want to jeopardize <br />other departments for the sake of one department. Chief Campbell <br />explained that he had brought out his needs however the Council was <br />the decision maker. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the 1988 Budget including additions as <br />previously moved. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71 - 87 <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE 1988 ANNUAL OPERATING BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF <br />LINO LAKES. <br />WHEREAS, Pursuant to Charter authorization, Section 7.06, the <br />Lino Lakes City Council is required to adopt a resolut- <br />ion setting out all anticipated revenues and expendit- <br />ures for the upcoming fiscal year. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />That the following operating budget be adopted for 1988: <br />1988 BUDGET <br />RECEIPTS: <br />Levy $1,146,850 <br />MSA Roads 13,900 <br />State Aid 232,117 <br />City Services 175,000 <br />Police Receipts 153,000 <br />Refunds and Reimbursements 10,000 <br />Federal Revenue Sharing -0- <br />Escrows 6,000 <br />Reimbursements from White Bear Township <br />(Planner) 20,500 <br />Circle Pines Gas Franchise 12,000 <br />TOTAL RECEIPTS $1,769,367 <br />PAGE 7 <br />
