COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 25, 1988 <br />Mr. Jeff Joyer explained he felt there is not a large enough <br />problem to necessitate an ordinance. <br />Mr. Bisel asked for a roll call vote. Mr. Reinert voted, <br />yes, Mr. Bohjanen voted no, Mr. Bisel voted no, Mr. Marier <br />voted yes and Mayor Benson voted yes to break the tie and <br />the motion carried. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />COUNTY OF ANOKA <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 02 - 88 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE LINO LAKES CITY CODE BY ADOPTING <br />THE FOLLOWING AMENDMENTS TO APPENDIX C, ENTITLED ORDINANCE <br />REGULATING SIGNS. <br />The City Council of the City of Lino Lakes ordains: <br />Article One. <br />Article Two. <br />Section II (B) of Appendix C of the Lino <br />Lakes City Code shall be amended to add <br />the following section: <br />12. Residential Promotion: Temporary sign <br />advertising such events as a garage <br />sale, craft bazaar, and similar uses <br />and shall include the advertising of <br />non - profit benefits. Such sign <br />shall not remain for over five (5) <br />days. <br />Section II (H) (10) of Appendix C of the Lino <br />Lakes City Code is amended to read as <br />follows: <br />10. Portable Sign: A sign designed to be <br />moveable from one location to another. <br />Portable signs shall be used a maximum <br />of four (4) times a year for a total of <br />fifteen (15) days per time. Portable <br />signs shall be limited to special events <br />or promotion. A fee may be charged that <br />will reflect the cost of administration <br />of this sign not to exceed ten dollars <br />($10.00). <br />Article Three.
