2V <br />COUNCIL MEETING FEBRUARY 22, 1988 <br />Mayor Benson explained that the Council has lost a member of <br />the Council, Mr. Donald Marier, a friend of the City and to <br />all of the Council. He recognized Mr. Marier's outstanding <br />civic leadership and noted that Mr. Marier expressed <br />positiveness, and gave generously of his time. Mr. Marier <br />was proud of his role in forging a gas franchise with the <br />City of Circle Pines, he was concerned about the condition <br />of the roads in this City and helped formulate a five year <br />plan for upgrading all of the roads. Mayor Benson asked <br />that everyone stand for a moment of silence in memory of Mr. <br />Marier. <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was <br />called to order by Mayor Benson at 7:00 P.M. Council <br />Members present: Bisel, Bohjanen, Reinert. Council Members <br />absent: none. City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; Engineer, Ron <br />Stahlberg; Building Official, Pete Kluegel; Administrator, <br />Randy Schumacher and Clerk- Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were <br />also present. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Work Session. February 8. 1988, Sewer and Water Rate Study - <br />Mr. Reinert moved to approve these minutes as presented. <br />Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Work Session. February 8, 1988. Status of 49ers Contract - <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve these minutes as presented. <br />Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />Regular Council Session. February 8, 1988 - Mr. Bisel moved <br />to approve these minutes as presented. Mr. Reinert seconded <br />the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS. FEBRUARY 22, <br />1988 <br />Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve these Disbursements as <br />presented.
