244
COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 14, 1988
Mr. Bisel felt there were a sufficient number of questions
that needed answers and noted traffic, lift station
capabilities, road positioning where it meets LaMotte Drive,
and double fronted lots among others. Mr. Bohjanen moved to
direct the Engineer and Mr. Volk to look into these
questions and come back to the next Council meeting with
some answers. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.
The Council took a five minute break at 9:13 P.M.
CONSIDERATION OF THE PROPOSED CITY PARKS QUESTIONNAIRE
A draft of the Questionnaire has been sent to the Council
for their review. Mr. Schumacher explained that it will be
condensed into a nice looking document. If the Council
approves of the draft it will be mailed to the residents in
a couple of weeks. Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve the
concept. Mr. Bisel seconded the motion.
Mr. Bisel noted that there were no questions about the
administration of the City. He would like to see something
and suggested; "If you dealt with the City office recently,
do you feel you were satisfied ?" "Were your needs met ?"
He also noted that. the Planning and Zoning Board are talking
about renaming street to conform with Metro's request. Mr.
Schumacher said that he has thought about including this in
the Questionnaire. Mr. Bisel asked why the Regional Park
was included with the questions on City parks. Mr.
Schumacher said if any comments were received he would
forward them to Anoka County Regional Parks.
Under Community Development, Mr. Bisel noted that a number
of items were included. He suggested that "others" also be
added. He also suggested instead of saying New and Used Car
Lots, use Dealerships instead on page 4 under Community
Development.
Mr. Bisel felt qustion #6 on page 5 is very negative. Mr.
Reinert suggested changing the word "worst" to something
else. He also note a typo error on page 1. Questionnaire
has two n's.
Mr. Bisel asked that the above changes be included in Mr.
Bohjanens motion. Mr. Bohjanen accepted the changes.
Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously.
ENGINEER'S REPORT - RON STAHLBERG
PAGE 11
