It is <br />encouraged to use potted plants and/or plugs as much as possible. <br />• Vines. The Environmental Board has stated an interest in the use of vines on <br />building surfaces. <br />• All planting areas should have available water. <br />• Plantings on poles should have available water. <br />• Electricity for accent lighting should be available throughout the planting areas. <br />• Trails <br />• All future trail extensions should be placed off -of eco- edges. <br />• Site soils <br />• Any soils that are not intended to be compacted should be protected from <br />unnecessary compaction (infiltration areas, pond and park areas). <br />• Pursue a conservation easement on the SE comer of the project. <br />• Use landscape lighting only in the common areas, interior to buildings. Use solar <br />powered lights if possible. <br />In addition, the Environmental Board wished to carry forward previous <br />recommendations made during the review process. These recommendations <br />included: <br />Best management practices for surface water quality should be initiated and <br />integrated into the predicted phosphorous exports for the site.
