These controls are likely to reduce <br />pollutants by 25 -50 %. Individual practices include: <br />Street Sweeping <br />• Street Maintenance <br />Collection System Maintenance <br />Catch basin cleaning <br />• Storm sewer flushing <br />• Litter Control <br />Chemical Application reduction <br />• Deicing materials <br />• Pesticides and fertilizers <br />Safe Chemical storage improvement <br />All lighting should be constructed in accordance with the requirements of the Lino <br />Lakes Zoning Ordinance. <br />In all cases, city standards for tree preservation should be implemented. If trees are <br />moved, than storage area needs to be designated until the planting areas are ready. <br />(Usually tree removal happens before initial grading operations). <br />Motion by O'Connell, second by O'Dea to recommend approval of the Legacy <br />project with above recommendations.
