•
•
•
AGENDA ITEM 1B
STAFF ORIGINATOR: Ann J. Blair, City Clerk
MEETING DATE: January 12, 2004
TOPIC: Consider Adoption of Resolution No. 04 -10,
Authorizing New Dance License: for Trapper's
Bar and Grill, 6810 Lake Drive
VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority
BACKGROUND:
An application was been submitted and subsequently approved in December, 2003 for
Jeffrey Moore, Lanatte Moore, and Glen Moore for issuance of a new On -Sale Liquor
License, Off -Sale Liquor License, Sunday License and Tobacco License for the
establishment located at 6810 Lake Drive, formerly known as Shirley Kaye's, and now
known as Trapper's Bar and Grill. At that time, the applicants did not apply for a Dance
License, although such a license was held by the former establishment. This was an
oversight, and they would like to apply for this at this time.
The taxes and insurance on this establishment are current, the liquor licenses just having
been granted, and there are no additional City requirements at this time, other than the
$200 Dance License fee, for which applicant has submitted payment.
In accordance with the City Code Section 608, this business qualifies for a dance license.
Staff therefore recommends approval of Resolution No. 04 -10.
The applicant is fully aware license approval is subject to all the provisions and
conditions of the laws of the city, state and of the federal government.
OPTIONS:
1. Approve Resolution No. 04 -10 Authorizing Issuance of Dance License.
2. Deny Resolution No. 04 -10 Authorizing Issuance of Dance License.
RECOMMENDATION:
Option 1
