The site is not in the current <br /> MUSA,but the City has ample MUSA reserve for commercial projects. The site has a <br /> conditional use permit(CUP)which will need to be amended to allow the construction of <br /> the new building. The required site and building plan review is an administrative review, <br /> but the review elements are relevant to the CUP. <br /> Because of the VFW's willingness to dedicate additional right of way,building and <br /> parking drive setback variances are needed along Lake Drive. <br /> The City approved a CUP amendment in April 1999 for an addition to the existing <br /> building,which was never constructed.
