MEETING DATE: February 9, 2004 <br />TOPIC: Accepting Donation from Centennial Firefighters Relief <br />Association to purhcase a Command Van <br />VOTE: 3/5 (Simply Majority) <br />BACKGROUND <br />At the January 12, 2004 City Council meeting, the City Council approved the request to <br />enter into an agreement with the Centennial Fire District to purchase a Command Vehicle from <br />the City of Elk River. The purpose of Resolution No. 04 -20 is to publicly thank the Centennial <br />Firefighters Relief Association for the generous donation to purchase the Command Vehicle, as <br />well as formally accept these funds. <br />• OPTIONS <br />1. Approve Resolution No. 04 -20 accepting the donation of $5,000 from the Centennial <br />Firefighters Relief Association for purchase of a Command Vehicle. <br />2. Return to staff for further consideration. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Option 1. <br />• <br />
