CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 -44 <br />• RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT — 62nd <br />STREET RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT. <br />• <br />• <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 62nd Street <br />Reconstruction project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the <br />following bids were received complying with the advertisement: <br />Contractor Amount of Bid <br />Arnt Construction Co., Inc. $ 930,219.38 <br />Central Landscaping, Inc. $ 936,304.39* <br />F.M. Frattalone $ 954,475.11* <br />Dresel Construction, Inc. $1,047,622.49 <br />Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. $1,079,254.95 <br />Three Rivers Construction $1,133,377.19 <br />Engineer's Estimate $1,133,076.20 <br />AND WHEREAS, it appears that Arnt Construction Co., Inc. is the lowest responsible bidder; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LINO <br />LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Arnt <br />Construction Co., Inc., in the name of the City of Lino Lakes for the construction of the 62nd <br />Street Reconstruction project according to the plans and specifications approved by the City <br />Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk. <br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the <br />deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next <br />lowest bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 12' day of April 2004. <br />Ann J( flair, City Clerk <br />Joh J.
