• <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MEETING DATE: <br />AGENDA ITEM 1 E <br />Michael Grochala <br />June 28, 2004 <br />TOPIC: Consideration of Resolution No. 04 -93 <br />Approving Summary Publication Method and <br />Language pertaining to Summary of Ordinance <br />04 -04 (Rezoning of Legacy at Woods Edge <br />Property to Planned Unit Development) <br />ACTION REQUIRED 4/5 vote <br />BACKGROUND <br />The City Council approved Ordinance 04 -04 amending the Zoning Ordinance by <br />rezoning the Legacy at Woods Edge project area to Planned Unit Development. <br />Included in the Ordinance are the Design Guidelines which establish the regulatory <br />framework for the development. Due to the length of the ordinance (the design <br />guidelines are 43 pages alone) staff is requesting approval of a summary publication. A <br />full text version will be available at City Hall. <br />MN statute 412.191 provides for a city to publish a summary of an ordinance. <br />Staff is recommending approval of Resolution No. 04 -93 approving the Summary <br />Publication of Ordinance 04 -04. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />1.
