• <br />• <br />• <br />Council Member %0-0 introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 - 130 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS FROM AREA BUSINESSES TO FUND <br />ONGOING EXPENSES TO MAINTAIN THE CANINE PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, area businesses continue to recognize the need to <br />retain the canine program; <br />WHEREAS, the canine provides protection for officers and the <br />public; and <br />WHEREAS, the community has a vested interest in the canine <br />program, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the Lino Lakes City Council <br />members, do hereby accept the $ 5,070.00 in donations to maintain <br />the Lino Lakes Police Department canine program and wishes to <br />express its gratitude to the business •mmunity for their <br />donations. <br />Ann B , City Clerk <br />Mayor <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 13th day of <br />September, 2004. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly <br />seconded by Council Member (h . and upon vote being <br />taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
