• <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 04 -138 <br />AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR A METROPOLITAN COUNCIL PLANNING <br />ASSISTANCE LOAN <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes sections 473.854 and 473.867 authorize the <br />Metropolitan Council to prepare and adopt guidelines establishing uniform procedures for <br />and award and disbursement of planning assistance grants and loans; and <br />WHEREAS, Minnesota Statutes 473.867 authorizes the Council to give funding to local <br />units of government to review and amend their local comprehensive plans, and to <br />implement planning activities that reinforce the Council's Regional Development <br />Framework to create more livable communities; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes requires a planning assistance loan to complete an <br />Alternative Urban Areawide Review (AUAR) for the northeast section of the city along <br />- -theme 35E corridor: <br />NOW _THEREFORE, -BE IT RESOLVED that the City Administrator is hereby <br />• authorized to apply to the Metropolitan Council for a planning assistance loan to <br />complete an AUAR. <br />Adopted by the Lino Lakes City Council this 27th day of September, 2004. <br />Ann Blair', pity Clerk <br />• <br />hn J.
