006 <br />COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 11, 1988 <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING HEARING ON <br />IMPROVEMENT OF PHASE II, D. ERICKSON'S 2ND ADDITION <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the Council adopted <br />February 22, 1988, a report has been prepared <br />by City Engineer, Ron Stahlberg with reference <br />to the improvement of Phase II, D. Erickson's <br />2nd Addition, and this report was received by <br />the Council on March 14, 1988. <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino <br />Lakes, Minnesota: <br />1. The Council will consider the improvement of such Phase <br />II, D. Erickson's 2nd Addition in accordance with the <br />report and the assessment of benefited property for all <br />or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to <br />Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429 and Chapter 8 of the <br />Lino Lakes City Charter at an estimated total cost of <br />the improvement of $530,339.00. <br />2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed im- <br />provement on the twenty third day of May, 1988 in the <br />Council chambers of the city hall at 7:30 P.M. and <br />the Clerk shall give mailed and published notice of <br />such hearing and improvement as required by law. <br />Adopted by the Council this el <br />Ben jam <br />of A• —_988. <br />Marlyn \G. Anderson, Clerk- Treasurer <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT - RON STAHLBERG <br />n, mayor <br />Resolution No. 21 - 88 Ordering Preparation of a Draina0q <br />Report - Mr. Stahlberg explained the area involved in this <br />report and indicated that this report is to be a part of the <br />2nd Avenue state aid system, Sunrise Meadows plat and the <br />509 Rice Creek Watershed Plan. He noted that he is looking <br />at using wetlands rather than creating additional ponds on <br />good land for storm water runoff. He said a large part of <br />this can be done through the state aid project. Mr. <br />Schumacher explained that the City has approved the <br />PAGE 4 <br />
