Motion carried unanimously. <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 21 - 88 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF A DRAINAGE REPORT FOR THE <br />AREA THAT IS BOUNDED ON THE WEST BY SUNSET DRIVE, ON THE <br />SOUTH BY NORTH ROAD, ON THE NORTH BY INTERSTATE HIGHWAY 35W, <br />AND ON THE EAST BY HIGHWAY #49. <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has a policy to acquire <br />orthophoto- contour maps to be used in long range <br />planning; and <br />WHEREAS, the Rice Creek Watershed District proposed 509 <br />Plan requires that the City of Lino Lakes will be <br />responsible for preparation of a City -wide drain- <br />age plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City council of Lino Lakes has authorized pre- <br />paration of a feasibility report for construction <br />of 2nd Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, the City staff is currently reviewing a proposed <br />forty acre subdivision within the above described <br />area; and <br />WHEREAS, <br />permits for drainage facilities are required by <br />the Rice Creek Watershed District, DNR and other <br />agencies. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES, MINNESOTA: <br />1. That the proposed improvement be referred to Engineer, <br />Ron Stahlberg, for study and that he is instructed to <br />report to the Council with all convenient speed ad- <br />vising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether <br />the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether <br />it should best be made as proposed or in connection <br />PAGE 5 <br />007 <br />
