40 <br />COUNCIL MEETING JULY 25, 1988 <br />Mr. Bisel felt there was too much confusion on the issue of <br />park dedication and asked that the matter be tabled until <br />the issue was settled. <br />Mr. Reinert asked if stick built homes were being built in <br />the subdivision now. Mr. Gearman said no, but he is <br />marketing the lots with the intention of building stick <br />built homes. <br />Mr. Miller explained to the Council that the PUD concept for <br />this area is a sound idea and the best way out of the <br />present situation. He noted that it was just learned within <br />after the agenda was prepared that the proposed site for the_ <br />tennis courts was below the 100 year flood plain elevation. <br />He recommended that the Council table the matter until the <br />Park Board can resolve the park dedication issue. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to table the item. Mr. Neal seconded the <br />motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION OF DISTRICT MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AMBULANCE <br />SERVICE REQUEST TO FORGIVE RENT AND UTILITY PAYMENT <br />This item was tabled until the August 8, 1988 agenda. <br />SECOND QUARTER REPORT, BUILDING INSPECTIONS - PETE KLUEGEL <br />Mr. Kluegel read his report to the Council. He told the <br />Council that he has issued building permits for seventy two <br />new homes and anticipates issuing at least 150 permits in <br />1988 for new homes. He noted that several commercial <br />projects are nearing completion. He noted several other <br />items that are currently being resolved by the building <br />department in conjunction with the City Planner and <br />Engineer. <br />ANNUAL REVIEW OF CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS - PETE KLUEGEL <br />This item was tabled until the August 8, 1988 agenda. <br />CONSIDERATION OF FINAL PLAT OF SUNRISE MEADOWS <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the final plat for Sunrise <br />Meadows subject to the abstract being delivered and reviewed <br />by Mr. Hawkins.
