186 <br />COUNCIL MEETING <br />AUGUST 22, 1988 <br />Mr. Pojar noted that the soils maps show some soils that are <br />worse than those in the Uhde development and under normal <br />conditions would create water problems. Mayor Benson said <br />that the Council is not considering a development plan <br />tonight, only the rezoning of the land. <br />Bill Schwind, 582 Arrowhead Drive asked if certain <br />development conditions could be included in the rezone <br />action. Mayor Benson said no that those considerations <br />would be part of the development plan. <br />Gary Barott, 681 Birch Street owns land adjoining the <br />western border of the Montain property. He had no problem <br />with the proposed rezone. <br />Mr. Pojar asked if R -1X includes executive condominiums. <br />Mayor Benson said no, only single family residences. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to close the public hearing at 10:45 P.M. <br />Mr. Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to approve the first reading of Ordinance <br />No. 14 - 88 to rezone certain land in Section 29 and Section <br />32 from R -1 to R -1X and to dispense with the reading. Mr. <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion.
