1 <br />COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 13, 1989 <br />unanimously. <br />01c.; <br />City Bus Service - Mr. Neal said that he has been working <br />with several other people on this matter for about six <br />months. Mr. Schumacher has attended a meeting with him at <br />the Lorenz Bus Company and a new schedule has been worked out <br />for Lino Lakes. This service will begin April 1, 1989 and <br />will cost seventy five cents per trip. The bus will stop in <br />both St. Paul and Minneapolis. This service will mean a lot <br />to the prison. It means the workers can now ride the bus and <br />there will also be Saturday service for inmates relatives. <br />This service will be on a six months trail basis and has been <br />approved by Metro Council. <br />League of Minnesota Cities Legislative Conference - Mayor <br />Benson noted that this conference is March 29, 1989 and he <br />will be attending. Mr. Neal said he also will be attending <br />and Mr. Bohjanen said he will check his schedule and let the <br />clerk know. Mayor Benson asked Mr. Schumacher to send a <br />staff member to sessions where applicable. <br />Mr. Bisel moved to adjourn at 10:05 P.M. Mr. Bohjanen <br />seconded the motion. Aye. <br />
