COUNCIL MEETING MARCH 13, 1989 <br />project can be completed. <br />v 05 <br />Mr. Bisel amended his motion to include the figure of <br />$17,037.00 for the EDC and zero dollars for city staff. Mr. <br />Neal seconded the amendment. Voting on the motion and the <br />amendment, both carried unanimously. <br />Mayor Benson asked Mr. Barrett to keep the City updated on <br />the RISE activities. <br />Resolution No. 15 - 89 can be found at the end of these <br />minutes. <br />ENGINEER'S REPORT RON STAHLBERG <br />Service Area #5 Sewer and Water, White Bear Township, <br />Resolution No. 16 - 89 - Mr. Stahlberg explained that White <br />Bear Township has ordered a feasibility study for an area <br />south of the Lino Lakes proposed Service Area #5 as outlined <br />in the Lino Lakes Comprehensive Plan. He recommended that <br />the Council direct staff to negotiate a Joint Powers <br />Agreement with White Bear Township to include Service Area #5 <br />in their feasibility study. <br />Mr. Bisel moved approval of Resolution No. 16 - 89 requesting <br />that Lino Lakes Service Area #5 be included in the <br />feasibility study prepared by White Bear Township and to <br />direct staff to negotiate a Joint Powers Agreement regarding <br />cost preparations, user's fees, etc. Mr. Neal seconded the <br />the motion. Mayor Benson asked how many potential hookups <br />are in Service Area #5 and Mr. Stahlberg explained not many <br />at this time, however, there are some landowners who have <br />expresssed interest in subdividing their property when sewer <br />is available. <br />Mr. Bisel asked if White Bear Township would size their main <br />to accomodate Lino Lakes. Mr. Stahlberg said that Lino lakes <br />would provide the figures and White Bear Township would <br />calculate the Lino Lakes need. <br />Voting on the motion, motion carried unanimously. Resolution <br />No.16 - 89 can be found at the end of these minutes. <br />Anoka County Capital Improvement Plan - Mr. Stahlberg <br />explained he, Mr. Miller and Mr. Volk met with the County <br />Engineer and discussed the County long range needs and <br />Capital Improvements Plan for Lino Lakes. The County <br />Engineer has requested input from Lino lakes and Mr. <br />Stahlberg is recommending that a list of improvements be <br />prepared by the City and submitted to the County Engineer. <br />He has prepared a list of four improvements and asked for <br />Council direction. <br />Ash Street -was discussed and it was noted that the Mayor of <br />
