COUNCIL MEETING APRIL 10, 1989 <br />The regular meeting of the Lino Lakes City Council was called <br />to order by Mayor Benson at 7:15 P.M., Monday, April 10, <br />1989. Council Members present: Bohjanen, Reinert, Bisel. <br />Council Members absent: Neal. City Attorney, Bill Hawkins; <br />Engineer, Ron Stahlberg; Building Official, Pete Kluegel; <br />Public Works Directar, Don Volk; Administrator, Randy <br />Schumacher and Clerk - Treasurer, Marilyn Anderson were also <br />present. Chief Dean Campbell arrived later. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF MINIJTES OF MARCH 27, 1989 <br />Two corrections to these minutes were noted: 1) page 5, <br />paragraph 2, 5th line, shopping center should read "City of <br />Lino Lakes "; 2) page 11, paragraph 5, line 5, Mr. Bohjanen <br />abstained from voting. Mr. Bisel moved to approve the <br />minutes of March 27, 1989 with the corrections noted. Mr. <br />Bohjanen seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. <br />CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF DISBURSEMENTS <br />March 31, 1989 - Mr. Bisel moved to approve these <br />disbursements as presented. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />April 10, 1989 - Mr. Bohjanen moved to approve these <br />disbursements as presented. Mr. Reinert seconded the motion. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />OPEN MIKE <br />Jack Lannon, District Memorial Hospital Administrator - Mr. <br />Lannon introduced himself to the Council. He explained that <br />he was hired by the Hospital District on February 13, 1989 <br />and the purpose of his visit this evening was to meet the <br />Council. He explained that he was in the process of meeting <br />all of the governing bodies within the District Memorial <br />Hospital service area. Mr. Bisel told Mr. Lannon that the <br />City was very pleased with the ambulance service provided by <br />the Hospital District. He noted that it was a plus for this <br />community. Mayor Benson thanked Mr. Lannon for coming this <br />evening. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 02 - 89, PARK TRAILS REQUIREMENTS, SECOND <br />READING <br />Mr. Volk displayed a map of the proposed trail system in Lino <br />Lakes. He noted that the purpose of the proposed ordinance <br />is to establish this trail system in new and some existing <br />subdivisions. He explained that the Park Board has worked <br />hard and long and has put a lot of thought into the trail <br />system. <br />-Mr. Bisel moved to adopt the second reading of Ordinance No. <br />02 - 89 P-Trk Trails Requirements. Mr. Bohjanen seconded the <br />
